🎭 Meet the kids going to Disneyland.

Jasmine's Beat® ND Dance Troupe has been invited to perform at Disneyland. A real performance. On a real schedule. By a group of neurodivergent kids, in front of strangers, in a sensory‑intense environment — together.

For most of these kids, “performance” meant masking. It meant trying to look like something they weren’t. Jasmine’s troupe is flipping that.
→ They dance as themselves.
→ They stim on stage.
→ They take breaks when their nervous systems need them.
→ And the audience stays anyway.

We need to get them there. The Bash campaign is raising for two things — the Acorn Fund (our community programs) and this: flights for the kids, travel and meal stipends for the parents and guardians chaperoning them, and the gear they need for the performance.

✨ Every dollar brings these dancers closer to the stage — covering flights, meals, guardians’ travel, and the gear they need to shine.

👉 Donation link is in the comments. When donating, please indicate that your gift is for the Jasmine Beat Bash so it goes directly to this event.

Sunny weather, vintage finds, handmade creations, community games, and neurodivergent folks connecting with each other đź’›

Our ND Vintage Clothing Meetup held last May 23 was full of small moments that mattered — conversations in the shade, people sharing interests, supporting each other’s creativity, and simply getting to exist without pressure.

Thank you to everyone who came by and helped make the space feel welcoming and joyful.

More community-centered events coming soon.

Burnout is not just about being “too stressed.”
For many neurodivergent adults, it can affect work, relationships, identity, health, and the ability to function day to day.

In our latest conversation, Rachel Radway shares insight on burnout prevention, recovery, support systems, and the realities many high-achieving women quietly navigate behind the scenes.

At Squirrel Space, we believe these conversations matter because access to support, understanding, and sustainable care should not be rare.

Thank you to Rachel for sharing your perspective and help

Memorial Day can bring up grief in unexpected ways for neurodivergent people.

Sometimes memory is not linear.
Sometimes it lives in sensory moments:
a smell,
a song,
a sudden feeling in your chest,
or a detail your nervous system never forgot.

For many ND adults, grief does not follow a schedule — and it does not always look the way others expect it to.

Today, we honor the lives lost.
And we also hold space for those quietly navigating memory, overwhelm, longing, or complicated emotions alongside remembrance.

→ You are not “too sensitive.”
→ You do not have to process grief the “right” way.
→ Your nervous system deserves gentleness too.

Thinking of everyone carrying visible and invisible grief today.

Self-ID beta testers — 3 shifts they all named in week 1.

One week into the Squirrel Steps Self-ID beta. Three things almost every tester has said in their check-in:

1. "I didn't realize how much I've been carrying just trying to figure this out alone."

2. "The language Step 2 gives me — I've never had words for this before."

3. "I thought I had to get a diagnosis to be valid. Now I know I have options."

This is what the June launch is being built from. Real testers, real language, real shifts.

A few beta seats are still open if you want in.

→ DM us "beta" to join.
