For the past 6 months I have not done any tiki/tropical art. I have been focused on other subjects, practicing different techniques, copying the Masters, and working on my freehand drawing skills. My first piece on my return to tiki/tropical art is this scratchboard of Dorothy Lamour from the South Seas film The Hurricane (1937). I already did one of her in watercolor. The background song is The Moon of Mankoora, sung by Dorothy Lamour in the film and this standard is covered by many artists.
