The Greater Vancouver Chamber brought together an incredible group of professionals for May’s Business After Hours, co-hosted by NFI Industries and Energy Trust of Oregon at NFI’s downtown Vancouver offices.

Our Account Executive, Gemycia Hornsby, had the opportunity to represent NW Staffing and connect with professionals across logistics, workforce development, technology, hospitality, and business services. Events like these continue to strengthen relationships within our regional business community and create meaningful opportunities for collaboration.

We’re proud to highlight the incredible community involvement of one of our team members, Katherine, at the Walk of Unshame in Astoria.

This powerful event brings people together to raise awareness and stand against sexual and domestic violence. In partnership with The Harbor, an organization dedicated to supporting survivors, the event created space for education, advocacy, and connection.

Katherine participated in two events, including the main walk and a community outreach day. On Sunday, she helped share information about The Harbor’s services, connected with community members, accepted donations, and distributed drink safety test strips—an important tool to help individuals protect themselves in social settings.

Beyond the logistics, what stood out most was the opportunity to engage directly with the community, raise awareness, and contribute to a meaningful cause. Experiences like these reflect the compassion, initiative, and commitment to service that we value as an organization.
