A state-of-the-art warehouse, pre-fabrication and maintenance area, and offices for an important construction partner.
Hoffman Construction Company, one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest construction companies, hired Mackenzie to design their biggest investment in Portland: Hoffman Yard.
We provided our full suite of professional services to create 60,000 square feet of new space to help them continue to grow their operations in the Pacific Northwest.
🚧 The most recent phase of development includes a brand-new warehouse, pre-fabrication and maintenance area, as well as administrative offices, conference and training rooms, and parking lots to support construction operations for years to come.
🔆 A rooftop solar array provides 100 KVA, generating up to 70% of the building’s power.
🏗️ Our design incorporated vital warehouse and repair tools like overhead cranes to lift and move heavy equipment around the building and an auto lift to elevate medium-duty trucks for repairs and maintenance.

Mackenzie is thrilled for the City of Puyallup - Government and Puyallup Police Department who celebrated the dedication of their new public safety building at Benaroya's South Hill + Technology Center.
The facility houses the City's police department, emergency management department, and an emergency operations center capable of supporting their essential services and community for the next 30+ years.
Mackenzie proudly provided architecture, landscape architecture, interiors, structural engineering, and land use planning services for the 51,000 SF space and exterior improvements.
The project's consulting partners included GFT, Barghausen Consulting Engineers and Wiggins Preconstruction Services. The project was collaboratively delivered with The Benaroya Company and JTM Construction.
Congratulations to the City of Puyallup and to the project team!

A high-tech addition to the nation’s oldest continuously used ballpark for Oregon State Baseball 🦫⚾
Mackenzie designed a new state-of-the-art hitting facility at Goss Stadium on Oregon State University's main campus in Corvallis, Oregon. This significant addition to the stadium's facilities provides Go Beavs with important space to enhance training for rising student-athletes at this storied, three-time Collegiate World Series champion program.
Drivers of our design include:
🏋️: The hitting facility adds four batting cages, a weight training room, general storage, and customized spaces for advanced player development technology.
⌛: The ballpark is located within the City of Corvallis Historic Preservation district. Therefore, the hitting facility addition was required to meet Historic Preservation Planning and Commission guidelines.
👁️: The facility's design integrates a brand-new batter’s eye wall that meets NCAA requirements
