There was a time I couldn’t stand this day. It felt like a reminder of what I didn’t have. But healing changed my lens. I wasn’t without a mother I was surrounded by many. Women who showed up, loved me, guided me, and helped shape the woman I am today.

In the past year, even my relationship with my own mother began to heal. And with that, so did my heart.

To every mama who poured into me thank you. Your love lives in me.
