11:45 Community
We see hundreds of people from various churches in the Portland Area volunteering, being a sustained visible presence in our community. They are a corroborative presence working alongside other groups, agencies, and individuals making Portland a safer and less violent place to live.

11:45 had another fun (but hot!) outreach in our community today. This is our third year visiting this apartment complex, having a little lunch, playing with the kids and giving out backpacks with with school supplies. It's fun to see how the kids grow from year to year.
Calling all past, present and future 11:45 members!
Volunteers from 11:45 will be walking in the Good in the Hood parade on Saturday, June 27th, 2015. Come join us! Even if you are no longer volunteering or haven't had a chance to plug in yet, we'd love to have you come represent a visible presence of church mobilization in our community. So, pull those 11:45 t-shirts out of your closets and come walk with us! (You can even walk with us if you don't have your 11:45 t-shirt.)
Volunteers should be at King School (NE 7th & Alberta) by 10:15 am - the parade rolls out at 10:45 am and ends at Lillis/Albina Park (Harriet Tubman school) - N. Flint & N. Russell. We'll have 11:45 postcards and candy to hand out along the parade route.
Please let me know if you think you can attend so we can estimate the size of our group.
