I‘m posting from my “Ship Shack,” the tiny studio I built this spring. I managed to cram my 118-year-old printing press, guillotine cutter, tasting journals and all the trimmings into just under 200 square feet. There’s even room for me! Barely.

Sometimes you just have to do a little extra. The cover on my new book journal actually comes in two flavors, both inspired by fine old books. made me two different marble paper designs printed on the cover in ink, which I then finish with a gold foil.
I’ve got a plate locked up and now it’s time to print. Here’s a little video showing the first in color going down on my hop print.
