Medium Phormat

Here’s a simple photo breakdown from one of our recent client shoots. We won’t be revealing the entire BTS for client work but we’re going to give you insight on how we set up the shot.

Taking some pointers from ’s photo breakdowns, but it’s tough when his work is miles beyond your own haha.

Working with leather goods has to be one of our favorites as they’re so versatile to shoot. Black leather isn’t always as fun though, haha.

This journey all started when I found a few tech and desk setup accounts on here. It struck something in me that made me want to go all in on being a product photographer.

Before this, product photography was something I used to do on the side. It was always something I wished could be done full-time.

I finally said screw it and went all in. I started posting nonstop here on Instagram, and I dropped all of my other gigs to focus on product photography.

This change brought Medium Phormat to life. What first started as a small side project quickly grew into main squeeze and passion.

It has taken me over 4 years to get to this point, but only 1 year of true dedication to finally reach my goal of becoming a full-time product photographer.

These days I’m continuing to build Medium Phormat and evolve it into becoming a photographer’s company, not just a client-first business.

Today, we work with million-dollar brands that I never would’ve dreamed I’d get contracts with. But it’s all coming to light that it accomplishing your dreams really is possible.

I just want to remind everyone that things take time and dedication. We all have stretches where we sit on our butts all day hoping for the best, but know that only you can make your dreams come true. And that’s through hard work.

But trust me, it’s worth it.
