This Saturday, May 16, join our Shovel & Rake team for the spring All Church Workday. We will be weeding, trimming, and otherwise spiffing up our garden and grounds before sharing a light lunch around Noon.

Please bring a pair of work gloves if you have them (don’t worry, we have extras) 🧤

This Sunday, May 10, Rev. Karyn Richards-Kuan will preach on “Letting Go of Perfection,” confronting the exhausting illusion that we must be flawless to be faithful, or that only the perfect can be pursued. The gospel invites us instead into honest, surrendered living, trusting that God brings life not from our polished image or perfect process, but from our offered selves.

The livestream will start at 10:20am, and worship will begin at 10:30am.

A Word with the Pastor: For the Women

There are so many women on whose shoulders we all stand: champions of justice & faith, stewards of our stories & our souls. For the women who have raised us up in the faith, [...] I give tremendous thanks!

This week we not only celebrate those who have been mothering nurturers in our lives, but also celebrate the 70th anniversary of clergywomen achieving full rights in the Methodist Church.
