How can this apply to your sign? 

1. The materials used for an outdoor sign can be an extension of your brand and identity. 

2. Storefronts are not all the same. Above the door may not be the best location for your sign. 

3. As the days get shorter, more shopping will take place in low light. Can your sign be seen in darkness? 

4. You can show who and what your company is without words. An outdoor sign can be the first impression a customer has of your store. 

This was a fun job, our client gave us no budget and total creative liberty to create a one of a kind sidewalk sign for her business.

We chose to approach this as furniture makers not sign makers to create something we have not seen done before with sidewalk signs- a walnut sign with brass inlays. Text and artwork was hand painted instead of being filled with epoxy resin. The sign was then finished with multiple spar urethane coatings to ensure even the heaviest PNW rain will not damage the wood.

The response is noticeable, people stare as they walk or drive by and our client has seen an increase in business since the sign was finished. We are very grateful to have clients who will let us stretch our creative legs without limitation.
