Portland Action Theater

This coming Saturday, April 25, is our next Secret Seed Improv Salon! Come join us! Once a month, artists share improvisations of all disciplines – dance, theater, music, poetry, spoken word, clown, visual art… you name it. Performances of 7-10 minutes will be followed by a spontaneous collaboration of all the evening’s performers. Each one has been so amazing! At the end of the show, the audience is invited to stay and play in the studio.

Confirmed performers for our April show are Mary & Nathaniel, Miro Jooyoung Oh & Imani Garnett, Travis Abels and Julia Rose Rahm. Live painting by Ocelocuauhtli.

Where: North Coast Seed Studios Bldg (put that into GPS for best success. It should take you to 2127 N Albina Ave., 97227), room #211
How much: suggested donation $25-$15. Ten percent of sales will go to support families impacted by ICE.

Note: Do not park near the train tracks (towing can happen if there are emergencies on the tracks). Also, DON’T BE LATE! The building door is locked and the door person will not be there to open the door past the event start time. Please allot extra time for street parking.

There is still room in our beginner classes at PCC! Classes start Sat, April 18 on SE campus and Wed, April 22 at Rock Creek. Register on the PCC website. Link in insta bio or find it on our website portlandactiontheater.com/classes. You may notice that there is a price difference between the two campuses. That was a PCC error that they cannot change now that people have enrolled. The correct price for both classes is the SE price. Apologies for any seething feelings of unfairness that might have been triggered by the difference. PCC Admin “has no idea how that happened”

We added a new option to do one day only of our Zen and Action Theater workshop. For those with the busier lives. This is going to be such a great opportunity to slow down and deepen into presence and play!
