The Book Roadie

Busted out my sewing frame for the first time in at least a year during today's livestream! I'm still improving my technique, so it's slow going. I'll get there though! Sewing frame by AffordableBindingEquipment.com

Image description: the sewing frame consists of a piece of wood with two posts in the corners closest to the edge of my workbench, with a wooden cross piece across the top of the posts. The wood cross piece has long metal bolts with hook ends on the down side, held by butterfly nuts. The hooks have cord tied to them. The cord goes down through a slot in the wood base and is attached to big butterfly paper clips so it's held taut. The pages for the book are positioned with the spine against the cords, there are three pairs of cord spaced along the pages, positioned to go with holes I punched in the paper for sewing.
