For patients facing cancer, oncology nurse navigators help bring clarity to the unknown — offering support, answers and a steady presence when it’s needed most.
Meet four of our 23 oncology nurse navigators who serve at Providence Cancer Institute - Oregon Franz Clinic, Providence Newberg Medical Center, Providence St. Vincent Medical Center and Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center.
They help reduce barriers to care, triage symptoms, streamline communication between multidisciplinary teams, and offer emotional, educational and logistical support during an incredibly overwhelming time for patients and families.
They say cancer can be like getting dropped in the middle of the desert, with no directions and no idea what comes next. That’s where our oncology nurse navigators come in to help.
