A few months ago, the very talented .photopdx did a photoshoot at the shop, and captured it in a way that I feel like no one really has yet. Looking at these pictures gives me a huge sense of pride about how far we’ve come since 2022. I wanted to open a record store that I would want to go to as a long time collector. Spacious, full of clean used records, loads of rarities on the walls, aesthetic art and collectibles everywhere you look, a chill listening station area to just vibe on the couch or listen to the records you found, and a place for local artists to share their music with their community, and ours. As we are speeding towards the 4-Year celebration on May 31st, I can’t help but feel hopeful and excited for the future of TMR, and grateful to everyone who has supported us over the years. It’s always a weird feeling meeting record collectors in town at events and shows who haven’t heard of Too Many Records, or who haven’t made the time yet to check it out. Honestly, though, that just makes me stoked for when they finally do discover us and join the ranks of the first time customer turned regular 🙏🏻 — stay tuned for info on the anniversary celebration!

Drop a comment with what you want me to look for (genres/albums) and I’ll do my best.

SO EXCITED to unveil ‘s picks. Straight from his personal collection and digging around Tokyo, if you’re a fan of J-Jazz, city pop, funk, anime and soundtracks, hip hop… we’ve got the records for you! Skip the long and expensive flight and let Too Many Records be your stop for authentic Japanese pressings of killer, curated titles. Thank you Marcus!! This collaboration brings me so much joy.
