Moral Redemption

I engaged in this Oregon Public Radio multi-media interview with Charlotte Powers a few years ago after my release from prison. The subject matter were my views of being an American, pre, during, and post incarceration. I’d love some feedback in comments here once you review the article.

Regaining the freedom to choose: a formerly incarcerated man prioritizes family, forgiveness and self-determination as a free American Steven Stroud has faced numerous challenges throughout his life, including living in foster care, drug addiction, and a 13-year prison sentence. He says self-determination has helped him remake his life since his release from prison one year ago — he is employed, sober and recently engaged.
