Take A Breath is a skill taught in Dr. Karen Overall's Relaxation Protocol, and in the Control Unleashed program created by Leslie McDevitt. I don't think I have to convince people these days that breathing through your nose is beneficial for your nervous system. Same goes for dogs! Have an anxious, reactive dog? Are they also mouth breathing all of the time? Check out this video to teach them how to breathe through their nose on cue, and help them learn the art of self-regulation.
