Watching church this morning with and something that really stood out to me was:
“If the devil can’t distract you, he’ll discourage you!”

I thinks so often we feel discouraged or something didn’t go the way we planned so instead of pushing though and instead of doing something that just may impact the world we quit.

Remember the devil doesn’t want us to impact the hearts of others, he’s not interested in helping people. So when our self doubt or a road block comes up- remember who’s lie you’re feeding!
Be bold, be you, because God created YOU for a purpose. You were put on this earth to do great things. Don’t get discouraged. 🥰🥰

If this isnt the most perfect quote for 2020.. This year has been so difficult in SO many different ways. We’ve had set backs, we’ve had loss, we’ve had hardship. And I hate how this year has ruined so much for people that have spend years creating a dreaming.
But- Even in the difficult times there is still opportunity. This isnt eays to see if we are so focused on what is hard and what isnt going how we expected. This isn't something we can see if we aren't willing to grow and adapt. WE have to be willing to pivot and go with the punches that this life throws at us.
We had 2 months that we had no new dogs. We did no new demos and we had no new sales. This was 2 MONTHS in what is usually our busiest season. THis is usually when we are slammed and have 10+ dogs in our house. I was concerned our business could fail. However, we were determined to make sure we could adapt. We started doing virtual lessons, virtually group classes- was it perfect, did it go well? HELL NO it was awful! But we were willing to put in the extra work to be there, to show up for our clients even when it was awkward and hard.
You know what has come out of this awful time for us? Our busiest fall, we have had more demos and signed up more dogs than previous years. We are on track to make more than we did last year. We are so incredibly blessed to have a business that didn't just survive the pandemic, but is thriving. We know this is only true because even when it was hard we still showed up- we still did team meetings virtually we continued to do what we could for our clients.
There is opportunity surrounding us constantly- but are you willing to keep taking action when it gets hard? Are you willing to do the work even when it sucks and is difficult and you don't see anything from it?
Keep going. Keep pushing. You've got this friend!
