Paint and Write For Life

I’m finishing a new painting of a sunset. I thought I was done, but decided to deviate from the reference photo. Sometimes a photo doesn’t work as a painting completely. For me, painting is creating something new. What do you think, Lorna Harris?

I framed my Iris painting framed. I am also submitting 4 paintings to the Spokane County Fair in September.
