This year marks an incredible milestone — the 40th anniversary of NASKA. For four decades, NASKA has represented excellence as one of the most respected martial arts circuits in North America, recognized around the world for showcasing the very best talent and competitors in our sport.

Since 1988, our fearless leader, Larry Carnahan, has served as President with unwavering dedication. For nearly forty years, he has guided NASKA with integrity, passion, and vision. Mr. Carnahan has shared that serving as President has been one of the greatest honors of his life — and we know the honor has truly been ours.

While Mr. Carnahan has decided to take a step back from his role, he remains an important part of our community. When you see him at tournaments, please take a moment to thank him for his extraordinary leadership and lifelong dedication to the sport we all love.

As we look ahead to the future and the continued longevity of NASKA, Mr. Carnahan has appointed Hunter Lyon as the new President of NASKA. We are excited about the future of Sport Karate and confident in the leadership that will carry us forward.
