Trafford Beautification Team

Team volunteers Jeff & Sabrina did some work today down at B-Y, planting some flowers supplied by the Trafford Board of Recreation in the planters and thru a generous donation by Sabrina herself, we added a bunch more perennials to the pollinator garden. Can’t wait until they fill in!

Cleanup days this weekend!

Do you have a green thumb (or just a desire to help your community look its best)? The Trafford Beautification Team is looking for volunteers for the 2026 season!

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or someone who doesn't mind picking up a few sticks to keep our parks clean, we would love to have you.

How it works:

Your Own Space: Once assigned a garden or area in a Trafford public space, you have the power to work on it whenever it fits your schedule!

Support & Supplies: We have a budget for needs that arise, and while we use our own tools, I have specialty equipment you can borrow from time to time.

Pop-up Work Parties: We’ll host "flash" work sessions when the weather is nice and free time allows.

Community Impact: From mulching large beds to clearing new areas, we work together to make a visible difference in Trafford.

Join us for our Kick-off Meeting!
Come meet the team, learn how you can help, and help us do a quick "spring cleaning" of the park to get the season started.
