THE DUKES Round 5 of GNCC

Got off the line with a good start and entered the woods in 3rd. A few mistakes early on dropped me back to 6th, where I stayed for a couple laps with some ground to make up. I kept pushing, caught 5th, and made the pass stick.

It was a tough, rocky track, but I rode consistently and brought it home in 5th.

Still plenty to work on.

A little late posting but I couldn’t be more excited for this season. AWRCS Round 1 was so much fun…. I had a mid-pack start due to pausing on the line but I was able to quickly make up positions entering the woods and advanced to second place. Despite the track being difficult to pass on, a fun hard enduro section, I managed to overtake and push hard for the overall lead on the second lap. In the end, I finished 1st in my Pro Am class and 4th overall out of over 380 racers. The only 2 stroke on the podium.

Round 1 of the GNCC at Big Buck in South Carolina was incredible—yes it was a muddy mess of a race but my Beta RR performed exceptionally well and handled beautifully. I got off to a solid start but unfortunately crashed about half a mile in, which allowed some riders to pass me. I quickly recovered and began making passes getting myself back up to 5th place but then I lost my rear brakes. Despite that, I maintained a strong pace and prevented the riders ahead from pulling too far away. However, as the race progressed, I started taking poor lines and got stuck in a really deep water hole which allowed others to get past me. I ultimately finished the day in 8th place in my class and 40th Overall. I had so much fun at Big Buck I can’t wait Talladega in a couple weeks.

Round 5 EROC ☝️🏁

I didn’t get the best start got pushed to the outside and was dead last around the first turn. But was able to catch up and take the lead around the 7 mile marker and didn’t look back. The track was absolutely amazing definitely my favorite track yet this year! Got 1st in my class and 1st Overall out of 221.
