Saturday. Saturday. Saturday is a day that’s going to live in my dreams for a long time.

Dharani and James wed at Hartwood Acres Mansion, bringing colorful Hindu tradition to the tall Pennsylvanian forest evergreens. Friends and family gathered from every chapter of their lives together.

It’s impossible to summarize the traditions, immense heat (matched only by Dharani’s own parents wedding day, historically), the outpouring of love and support from their families, the buzz of unity and connection in the air- white flowers hanging from the mundap and women’s hair alike.

I’ll be honest- fifteen little slides can’t possibly show how much joy was in this day. But I hope it gives you just a sliver of what we all felt this past Saturday- I know I’ll be dreaming about it.
