Happy Mother’s Day to the moms, grandmas, stepmoms, bonus moms, dog moms, and the women who somehow always know where everything is.

We hope today brings you a little extra love, laughter, and maybe even a quiet moment.

I want to thank Kate, John, and Nebraska at ACDC for remaining principled and committed to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community by putting out this statement. We always can, and always should, hold Democrats accountable when they engage in harmful rhetoric.

As someone who identifies with the LGBTQIA+ community, as someone who has friends and family who identify with the LGBTQIA+ community, and as a candidate for County Democratic Committee, I wholeheartedly condemn the attacks on our community by this candidate for Pennsylvania House District 45. These attacks affect our very own neighbors across District 45 and within my precinct and I will not stand for them. As a committee member, I have and always will stand by my LGBTQIA+ siblings and remain committed to making politics better by supporting and electing, not just any Democrats, but GOOD Democrats.
