Pittsburgh Poetry Collective is an organization that provides a space for self-expression, identity exploration, & social justice via spoken word leagues, performances & community writing workshops. Although we are a new nonprofit, some of our programs have been around since the 90's. We welcome any opportunity for lyrical mayhem and believe that poetry heals, speaks, connects, and shares our experiences and differences.

Looking for something different to do on Saturday, June 20? Join us at Pittsburgh Savoyards for an evening of powerful performances benefiting the Bellevue Forward Music Festival!
Presented in partnership with the Pittsburgh Poetry Collective, this special fundraiser will showcase a group of talented poets sharing original work, along with appearances by special guests, The Latchkey Kids Improv Troupe.

All proceeds from the door will benefit Bellevue Forward and help support the 2026 Bellevue Music Festival.

⚠️ All ages are welcome; however, some performances may contain explicit language and mature subject matter. Attendance is recommended for ages 18+.

Welcome back, Liner Notes! – Pittsburgh Poetry Collective Periodically, we take a break from competitive performance to sit back, appreciate some good music, and all write a new poem.
