Hello everyone--here are the latest illustrations of the most recent addition to Thermo Fisher Scientific's Science Superhero Series (ain't alliteration fun?). Meet STEM Girl, the tween leader of the group. Her super-powered cranium provides energy throughout her entire body, including her fiber-optic hair!

This was a cover illustration I did for the Spring 2012 issue of Headline Discoveries, an educational magazine published by Thermo Fisher Scientific. It was drawn rendered in Photoshop from rough concept to finish.
