We are proud to announce that Alex has been recognized as a Dean’s List Finalist at the Greater Pittsburgh Regional! This prestigious award honors students who exemplify dedication to FIRST, outstanding STEM skills, and a deep commitment to community service.
As a leader in both our mechanical and non-technical sub-teams, Alex plays a vital role in our team’s success. In the fall, he leads our CAD training program, teaching underclassmen while mentoring a teaching assistant. During the build season, he contributes to machining, project management, and ensuring an efficient build process. On the non-technical side, Alex started the Pennsylvania Advocacy Conference of Technology, which brought together over 30 attendees from across the state to discuss advocacy and meet with over 10 legislative offices. In addition to managing other outreach initiatives and mentoring underclassmen in how to manage their own outreach initiatives.
Congratulations, Alex! Your hard work and dedication inspires us all. We are excited to cheer you on at FIRST Championships in Houston—Go Trojanators! 🎉
