Most pitchers think the hard part is getting healthy.
It’s not.
The hard part is what comes next.
You finish rehab…�You get cleared…�You start throwing again…
But:
• your velocity isn’t back�• your arm doesn’t feel the same�• your mechanics feel off�• you don’t trust it at full intent
So you sit in this in-between phase…
Healthy enough to playďż˝
But not good enough to compete at your level
👉 This is where careers stall
Because most systems stop here.
Rehab focuses on:�• pain reduction�• basic strength�• range of motion
It does NOT rebuild:�• high-speed mechanics�• sequencing under intent�• workload tolerance for real competition
So pitchers either:�• stay stuck with lower velocity�• deal with recurring arm issues�• or try to push through and get hurt again
There’s a missing phase…
➡️ Return to performance
That’s where:�• mechanics get rebuilt�• velocity is restored�• the arm is actually prepared for the game
Most pitchers never get this.
That’s why most don’t come back the same.
