I saw this gem at my son’s school and thought “yes I love this for beginning AND seasoned humans! This is the kind of energy we need more of; in leadership, in community, in everyday work and life. Imagine if we all showed up this way—honest, helpful, kind, brave. A reminder that the simplest values are often the most powerful.

Do you ever think about why we start a puzzle from the outside first? Like with anything, you start by laying the foundation. In the first photo I’m sure you couldn’t tell what my puzzle was going to be, but I could. I had a vision for it. I laid the foundation.

You got to see the big picture at the end, when the puzzle was finished. Building something takes a lot of behind the scenes work, a lot of strategizing, a lot of hard conversations, definitely some mistakes along the way, and trying to make the pieces fit together. Trust your process.
