First field work after my wife and I welcomed our little girl into the world 3 weeks ago.
3 weeks of sleepless nights and poor diet have certainly done a bit of a number on the conditioning base that I had achieved, but just getting back out in the heat and running around feels great!
Special thanks to to taking care of our little girl while I get sweaty and stinky!

If you play sports long enough, no matter how well you prepare, the injury bug eventually bites.
Many times, these are little injuries: a minor ankle sprain, a bit of back pain, some pain in your knee or shoulder; but other times, these are life changers; the injuries that cause you to sit out a whole season, require surgery, or make you consider hanging up the cleats all together.

The new year is a great time for a reset and a great time to set new goals.
Following through on those goals is something that unfortunately happens only about 50% of the time.
If you can gather the motivation, you still need the capability, and opportunity, or you are likely to fail.
