They soon realized a couple of things: first, there was a sizable portion of the population who wanted to continue to grow their social and business circles outside of their networks which in a sprawling metro region can be challenging. Second, in a recovering economy it makes sense to stimulate growth within the community at locally owned businesses. Grabe and Johnson decided to pull these concepts together and launched Localati.com in 2012.
