Ego: your sense of identity. The part of your psyche that GRASPS and holds tightly onto “I am THIS kind of a person”, or “I am THIS as my profession…”

… What if we stop saying the same things about ourselves, and instead let it all fall away, temporarily, and ask our SOUL - the wisest, most cosmically-aligned part of us, who we really are?

Your sense of identity is needed as a human, but it can also become an obstacle to you orienting yourself to what your soul came here to do.

Ultimately this was the big gap I felt in religion: no one talked about the role our EGO - our identity-grasping tendencies as humans - was playing in our spiritual life.

To not see your ego is to live in a cage.

As I’ve studied what “the ego” is - the glue that holds our psyche together, but also the Boulder that can block out our spiritual nature - I began to see it in the systems that have constructed our culture in the USA/Western Society:

✔️ patriarchy
✔️colonization
✔️imperialism

I started to see how, to preserve their identities/ego-cemented states, men in power long ago set up systems to centralize people’s power… or rather, to give people the ILLUSION that their power was not their own.

That is belonged to a Guy in the Sky.

(I mean no disrespect.)

…. It was not fun—at ALL— to come to the realization that the worldview I grew up with was sitting and growing inside of systems of oppression that I now could not unsee.

And yet…. On the other side of the fears that stopped me from looking, poking, asking and exploring…. Was a POWER that I thought only belonged to MEN IN SCRIPTURE. (Because yes, Constantine erased women and their words and stories almost completely from scripture. Read anything by to understand this.)

My loves: the world is not going to change itself. And women staying quiet and small in fear is JUST AS DESTRUCTIVE as men tearing down people’s freedoms.

So, I will help you cross the bridges of your fear — the sacred inner THRESHOLDS — to find your true voice, your true self, your TRUE power.

Because it has belonged to you, and been your birthright - all along.
