This story follows Fred Gerten, a longtime volunteer and build leader with Sleep jn Heavnly Peace in Phoenix. I interviewed Fred about why he continues to dedicate his time to building and delivering beds for children in need, the moment that solidified his commitment to the organization, and the ongoing challenge of meeting the growing demand across the Valley. The story highlights dignity, stability, and how small acts of service create lasting impact.
