The farm truly perks up after we get the rare and precious occasion of rain! It’s such a wonderful thing to be able to say that in the Phoenix metro area we had a high temperature that didn’t exceed 90 degrees today and I wanted to document that special moment. Bees and ladybugs on the fennel flowers 🥰

In this week’s cafe tables at on Shea, the arrangements feature Yarrow, Limonium, and Scented Geranium! The leaves of the scented geranium smell of rose and mint- and both the scented geranium and the yarrow are edible. Yarrow is a medicinal plant and more blooms will be available this Saturday morning when has their grand opening celebration in downtown Phoenix! I will be there with a flower bar so you can select from these and other locally grown stems to take home a floral creation of your own! Some will be raffled for free and others will be available for purchase. I can’t wait to see you Saturday as we celebrate Proof together! And if you happen to stop by the Shea location you now know a little more about these little table arrangements- and you can tell your friends what the flowers are and look like a fancy flower connoisseur
