💙 "Sally Naja" — Beauty in the Stitches 💙

I didn’t set out to build a flawless Naja — I built one to see if I could, and turns out I can.
This piece is a little wild, a little stitched-together — just like Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas — a patchwork of perseverance and silver.

I used 24–26 gauge sterling sheet, soldered each segment like a little bandage or stitch, and gave it life one seam at a time. Next time I’m going bigger: 18-gauge sheet, broader joints, fewer weak spots. But you know what? Even this version has heart, character, and story.

The stones are Morenci Turquoise — rare and sought-after, coming from the old copper mines in southeast Arizona. It’s known for its deep blue tones with golden pyrite that sparkles like stars against the silver. The mine has been closed for years, making each piece of Morenci turquoise part of a limited legacy.

If this one doesn’t find a new home, that’s fine — I get to keep a piece of art, a handful of silver, and a story that reminds me not to give up. If it does sell — even better. Someone gets to wear the resilience and story every day.
