For those interested, we are running a one shot at Games U in Gilbert this Saturday and the following Saturday. Here is the synopsis and character creation info.
Off the shores of the D'vartines River lies the hamlet of Sharnlilly, a quaint village founded by the Sharn family 12 years ago. As your party enters the town, they find an inn named "The River's Shanty" and stop in to rest for the night. Leren, the inn proprietor warmly greets you offering fresh food and and drink. Eventually she approaches and asks for your help after saying people have been bit by rats that came through town last night and fallen into a comatose state. She reveals these rats were seen heading towards Geneveas Tears, a waterfall to the NW. She further explains people were yelling the word "eshga" repeatedly before falling unconscious. She is willing to offer you free meals and rooms for the week, a barrel of Foxglove Wine, and 10 gold pieces each if you will help.

Bring a level 5 character with 1 extra feat. Use point buy to build your character. Use any nonflying published race, any published class and subclass. Use class and background starting gear for equipment, gold, weapons etc.
