A collection of self portraits from 2021 to 2026. For my 2026 portrait, I really wanted it to look like it was painted by an old master. I wanted it to be super moody and stylized like it was done in the Renaissance. I think it’s turning out pretty cool not sure if I’m done yet!

These were headed to Boston but NEVER MADE IT💔
These pieces were being considered for a gallery show in Boston. By the time they were returned to me the show was arranged and they ended up damaged so they would not have been considered.
I’m still hoping to list these on my website for those interested. They are some on my absolute favorites after all!!! I am honestly just thankful to have them back with me in one piece (ish).

I made this painting for the autistic support classroom in our elementary school. The teacher is incredible, and the group of instructional assistants are so dedicated, their classroom motto is “You can do hard things,” and our school mascot is a lion, so I wanted to bring those pieces together in a way that felt meaningful for their space.
What made it even more special was the thank-you card they made for me. They used pieces of a core board, which is a visual communication board with words and symbols that many students with autism use as part of AAC to support communication. They are such an incredible crew!

I completed this one a WHILE ago but didn’t like it much. After stepping away for a bit, I actually like it a lot!
