Flash back to when I purchased my 1st investment property - a duplex in Strawberry Mansion. I would later sell it for 3x's the purchase price.

I learned so many lessons through this deal. I learned the value of networking - I acquired this property thru 1 of my regulars while I was bartending ( I'm a hustler 😉 ask about me)

I learned the value of relationships - I partnered with 1 of my broker colleagues, and we flipped this deal together. It was quite a ride, but we got it done. I also learned tenacity and knowing the value of what you bring to the table.

I learned the power of negotiations - say what you mean, and mean what you say. No one can take advantage of you unless you let them. Oh, and put EVERYTHING in writing! ✍️🏾

This purchase birthed the Property Chick and subsequently The Property Chick Society, which I would later trademark ™️
I would go on and teach others investment strategies and Do's and Don'ts in being a landlord.
