Today is my 36th birthday. In Judaism, this is a significant year because it’s double chai! “Chai” means life, and the numerical value of the letters in “chai” is 18, so every multiple of 18 is very special.

To celebrate my life and all life, please join me in supporting the life-affirming organizations that are building revolutionary alternatives to the capitalist, white supremacist hellscape that our government is attempting to enforce around the globe.

Every month, I send funds to the Freedom Side School, a Philly-based project that is opening an abolitionist school for children whose parents are incarcerated. I invite you to join me in being a sustaining member with the link in my bio and/or comment with the life-affirming organizations that get your resources (money, time, skills, etc).

The final three spaces in this six person class have been paid for specifically for Black and Indigenous q***r and trans people! If this is you and you would like to learn kettlebells, consider signing up! If not, please share!

This weekly series is designed for beginners to learn foundations of kettlebell exercises. We will take our time to focus on form and notice what our bodies are doing and feeling as we move. This class is explicitly weight neutral and free of diet talk.

Please email me at [email protected] if you are interested and have any significant joint injuries or other medical conditions or injuries that limit your ability to exercise safely to discuss whether and how we can make this class safe for you.

Vaccines are required. Mask requirements will be determined by the needs of the group. The cap of six people over six weeks is intended to decrease the risk of COVID.
