Right now, our rowers are pulling as hard as they can in a nonstop 90-minute relay on the ergs. Seats are changing. Teammates are cheering. Effort is constant. Every meter is earned, and every stroke is powered by the support of people like you.
Today is our Erg-a-thon. The athletes rowing today represent the heart of Lower Merion Crew. They show grit, teamwork, and resilience. They have trained for months for this moment, and they are rowing not just for performance, but for progress: safer equipment, scholarships, and the purchase of a new eight-person boat that will serve athletes for years to come.

We’re kicking off the Spring season with Lower Merion Crew’s annual Erg-a-thon fundraiser! 🚣 On February 28, our athletes will complete a 90-minute relay on indoor rowing machines to raise funds for a new 8-person boat. Calling all rowing enthusiasts!
Join us for the 2026 Mainline Slide on Sunday, January 25th, hosted by Lower Merion High School Crew Association. This indoor rowing competition is perfect for Juniors, Masters, Novices, Collegiate rowers, Adaptive Lightweight, Coxswains, CrossFit enthusiasts, and Parent/Child duos.
Location: Lower Merion High School Gymnasium
315 E. Montgomery Avenue, Ardmore, PA 19003
Registration Fees:
- Coxswain Clinic: $30
- General Registration: $25
- Late Registration (after 1/22) or Same Day Registration: $30
- Team Events: $25
Plus, gently used Concept 2 race ergs are available for sale! The Concept2 Model D/PM5 Indoor Rower is regularly $990 + $55 shipping + PA sales tax, but we have lightly used race ergs for a great price of $900 (check) or $927 (using credit card), pick-up only, no PA sales tax. These are black Model Ds with a PM5 monitor from Concept2 in excellent condition, stored in an indoor facility. Please contact us for bulk purchases. To reserve an erg a nonrefundable $150 deposit is required. Ergs will be available for pick up only at the conclusion of the 2026 MainLine Slide event.
