Happy holidays, 95 drivers! PennDOT opened a 4th lane in each direction here at the Cottman Avenue interchange a short time ago. It's been 4 years of "bah humbugs" and a cost of $212 million, but this expansion should greatly help travel times in the months and years ahead. Enjoy!

Hey friends – be careful out there tonight. Heavy rains are leaving us with a lot of standing water on the highways.

But hope you all had a good weekend. I enjoyed running into some of you down the shore. And while overall the weather was pretty nice, the fog was kind of crazy today in Ocean City. You should be able to see the Music Pier very clearly in this picture, but instead the fog didn't lift until almost dinnertime. Curious – if you're down the shore, was it that way where you are?

Sorry guys. Tried to come to you from Central Malawi. Wanted my first time going live to be from someplace interesting. But as I'm sure you can imagine, Internet connection in Central Africa is not the strongest. So I'll leave you with this pic from our safari ride tonight. More pics to come when I'm back. What an interesting decade it's been. Thank you for allowing me to grow in front of you. Thank you for trusting me to guide you on the roads. And thank you for laughing with me - or even at me! - for the last 10 years. It's been a pleasure.
