Local Dialect

First time in Denver and y'all threw down! Such a fun joyful energy thru the entire night, it was really lovely to play for y'all!

We really enjoyed this set in a special way, one of those occasions where everything flows an fits together naturally. Playing parties is a two-way conversation between you and us, and this one felt just like catching up with an old friend. :)

And of course we also road tested a bunch of new tunes, locking 'em in for release soon...

Happy birthday to the one and only Samwise Pinecone 🌲🍦32 years around the sun, 8 years speaking the Local Dialect (whoa that's 1/3 of our lives...). Getting to make music with you is an honor and a blessing - have the most wonderful of days and here's to many more!

The track that's playing is one of our first tracks called Phial - Sam had written a loop with this beautiful melody and left it on the studio computer. I came down to the studio later and was like dang he hit gold, I gotta make sure this one makes it. I fleshed it out into a full arrangement, added some pads, and after we finished it together it became the seed that brought many of the first opportunities that came to Local Dialect, and one of my favorite songs that we've made together to this day.

Philly! We are so excited to announce that we’ll back this summer for another awesome headline show with ! The venue looks dope and there is a great bunch of DJs filling out the rest of the lineup. We had such an awesome night last time we played - this one’s gonna be a banger 😈
