Happy Disability Pride Month! 💛

As we celebrate this month, we honor those who fought and are still fighting for equality and disability justice. Disability Pride Month is a time to uplift the disability community embrace and value one’s disabilities as parts of who they are.

Over 70 million adults are disabled (1 in 4 adults in the U.S.), and 1.3 million Asian Americans are disabled. We must value and include everyone, regardless of “productivity” or “economic worth.” Let’s commit to solidarity with disability justice!

📢Help shape the final design for Chinatown Stitch!

The Chinatown Stitch seeks to reconnect Philadelphia’s Chinatown. It will build a highway cap over the Vine Street Expressway with a public park and improvements to Vine Street. The project aims to make Vine Street safer for people who drive, walk, ride bicycles, and use transit. It also aims to make it easier for residents and visitors to get to work, school, doctors, stores, and parks.
