Piggybacking on yesterday's post, many are not in a position currently to bring in a marketing professional. So where does that leave you? In the world of DIY. If this fits your current situation, and you have more time and less budget, here are some quick tips to help move your business forward while not setting your budget back.
1. Up your social media by educating yourself to find more ways to use it and increase your engagement, whether through posts, ads, or influencers.
2. Consider starting an e-newsletter if you haven't already. Take this time to build your email list through authentic contacts. Check out mailchimp.com for one option.
3. Reach out to previous clients and others in your circle of influence. Say hi and connect. You never know where it may lead.
The bottom line is your bottom line. The common denominator of this post is getting educated. When things pick up again, you'll be ahead of the game, even if you do end up handing your marketing back over to someone else.
Questions on this or anything else? Let me know....
