Hello Facebook, Friends & Fam: If you don't know me, I'm Micah. I'm 16 years old, an Illinois transplant now living in the land of the sun, Florida. It's been quite a transition but, a good one. I was fortunate enough to get a job right before school started. I'm in the fast food game...same story different kid. However, I want to change my narrative or maybe I am just now writing mine. I have been inspired to enter the world of entrepreneurship. I have always loved photography as a hobby. In the 9th grade, I was involved in the Yearbook Club and it was my first experience with a camera...I was hooked. I took headshots, action photos, and event photos and helped with the design and layout of the book. It was a proud moment for me. Since then I have just viewed photography as a hobby not as a skill. I want to invest in myself and start my own business, Focal & Frame. I have researched the equipment and to get started it will cost approximately $3,000 I am reaching out to ask the adults in my life for support. I want you to know I have skin in the game. I have saved over $600 and I am well on my way. With the holidays quickly approaching, I am going to be offering Mini Sessions for children and families (details to come). If you have it in your heart and your budget I would sincerely appreciate your support so I can invest, spend some time learning my camera, and get started.

If you are local to Jacksonville/Nassau County I will be offering a headshot or a credit towards a session if you donate $50 or more. For example, if you donate $50 to my start-up I will provide you with a Headshot (5 edited photos) or a credit towards a Mini Session. These styled sessions (Holiday Theme - Outdoor) will be $75 and up depending on the package you desire. Help me dive in and explore this new chapter that I hope to make a focal point in my life and frame it.
