The breeze came ready to play yesterday, but Senior Stag Day weathered the course just fine. Plenty of laughs, solid shots, and a few drives that may still be riding the wind. Thank you to all who joined us for another day on the greens.
Team USA kicks off its World Cup journey tonight and we’re starting the celebration early! Stop by Arnie’s for official World Cup sips like the Casamigos Margarita, Buchanitas, and $3 Michelob Ultras! The pre-game starts at 4pm 🍹

Since joining Blue Bell Country Club in 2014, Sue McKeever has become one of the familiar faces that truly embodies the spirit of the Club. Introduced to the club by friends, Sue remembers immediately feeling the warm and welcoming atmosphere (especially after realizing she already knew the bartender). Safe to say, it didn’t take long for BBCC to feel like home.
Whether she’s out on the golf course, meeting friends at Arnie’s or Sandbaggers, or spending summer evenings on the Bocce courts meeting new members, Sue keeps a full social calendar around the Club. And with a competitive spirit, she’s always looking forward to tournament season, Women’s Golf League, and Bocce — though she admits Back in Blue remains one of her favorites, and this year’s certainly did not disappoint.
One of Sue’s most memorable Club moments came in the form of a hole-in-one on Hole #10 — made even more special by the fact that happens to be her backyard within the Blue Bell community.
When it comes to dining at Arnie’s, Sue’s go-to is the Cobb Salad, though the new Chorizo Flatbread paired with a cold beer has quickly earned a top spot on her favorites list. And every now and then, she’ll celebrate with one of the bartenders’ expertly crafted cocktails.
Outside of the Club, Sue is an avid reader who enjoys winding down with a book each evening. She also loves baking (especially novelty birthday cakes for her six grandchildren) and many staff members would tell you her cream of coconut cake has become legendary around the Club. Oh, and casually? She’s also been on the cover of a magazine (we’ll let her tell you which one).

Our Ladies Member-Member Tournament was a groovy success! From the fabulous 70s outfits to the friendly competition and unforgettable memories, it was a weekend full of fun.
