The Deranged Locket

Here is my Day 2 prompt for “SIMPLICITY” I used some acrylic paints , posca paint pens, some arto wax in antique copper, and made a cluster embellishment using up some simple scraps :) just trying to get back into my flow so simplicity was perfect!!

Well it’s official The Deranged Locket just adopted/rescued a new studio friend his name is Otis. Otis was rescued from my local thrift shop , he isn’t in great condition but he’s amazing and he’s going to keep all my brushes safe and sound for me until I use them. His new job is to help keep them safe so I don’t lose them or forget where they go ;) so say hello to my new guy Otis ;) more pics to come once I find a spot for him in the studio ;) Do you have studio helpers? Or non typical items you use in your art space? I have all types of weird things because thrifting is one of my other passions and I always have to rescue something and it helps me in my studio lol I’ve got bird jars full of buttons, vintage tins full of ephemera and stuff, old cool purses turn into art to go bags lol, I even found a vintage caboodle once that I use for an art in the car kit during the warmer months ;) I use random things for things so tell me in the comments what do you have or use?
