Our little champions had a blast during our Olympics! The children were divided into Red Team and Blue Team.
From the egg and spoon race, potato sack race, sorting the colors on the Olympic rings, every event was filled with giggles, teamwork, and determination. Through these fun games, our toddlers built important skills like gross motor coordination, following directions, taking turns and above all confidence and perseverance. It was so much fun to see the children cheering on each other and celebrating every small victory.

Our preschool children created their own Dinosaur World diorama box. This was one of the project for the monthly study of Boxes. Each child brought a shoe box from home. They painted it inside and outside. They painted green to represent the grass and blue for the sky. The made volcano out of the paper cup. They selected the backdrop from a magazine. The children put together dinosaur puzzles to create a 3 D effect, used stamps to make the dinosaur foot prints. They picked their favorite dinosaur to complete their box. Finally the children took turns presenting their diorama box. This project enabled the children more freedom and creativity by displaying three dimensional scenes.

Our preschool children made their own shakers using the paper towel tubes, different types of beads, and closing the tube ends with the playdoh containers lids. Children painted and decorated the outside of the tubes, counted the number of beads they wanted to use. After making the shakers, they checked if the different number of beads will make different sounds. Children loved making their own shakers.
This project was done as a part of the monthly study for Music.
