Long Dogs and Friends Rescue

Sweetheart Cajun is hoping for his forever family, will be in Philly this weekend -- four years, 12 pounds, a gentle, well-mannered boy, who loves cuddling and enjoys other dogs! Cajun came to rescue as a breeder release because of an IVDD episode, wobbly especially on one side. We treated him with steroids, acupuncture/laser, water therapy. Cajun is doing so well now, walks, runs, goes in/out the doggie door in his foster home, plays. His only limitations are stairs, jumping, but those are off limits for all doxies. We'd like him to have a fenced yard. He would enjoy a doggie buddy, who plays gently. Cajun loves lap time, hanging out with his humans.♡

Our pretty lady Clarice is waiting patiently for her forever home, and what a sweet, good girl she is! She came to rescue from shelter flea-infested, needing spay/dental -- having been kept outside always. Her vetting behind her, Clarice is so happy to be living inside, enjoying all the comforts she deserves. Ten years, 17 pounds, she is truly a wonderful girl. Ok, folks, who wants to weigh in on breeds for our non-doxie love bug, Jerry? We're almost sure cattle dog. What else is in this uniquely adorable face -- and those legs!?☺️ Jerry is 8 years, 19 pounds of sweet easiness, likes everyone, loves cuddling with another dog; a well-mannered boy. Rescued from shelter at euth time with 2 cherry eyes, dental disease, awful skin/coat from severe flea dermatitis. He's a darling, so worth loving. Our handsome Pappy Van Winkle has a wonderful forever family, and, my goodness, is he so deserving of just that! Such a tough beginning to his rescue story, but with a quick storybook ending.
