If you know it's time to edit your belongings but a full decluttering session feels daunting, try putting a permanent donation box in an out-of-the-way place like a basement, garage, or laundry room. When you come across something you no longer need, you can drop it in the box in real time. (Whatever you do, don't put it back where it was thinking you will get rid of it later!) Set yourself a monthly calendar reminder on your phone to head to the donation center and you have a new habit that will help keep your space clutter free.

One thing that makes kitchens feel amazing is to remove things from the counters.

Counters can get cluttered and make your kitchen feel smaller.

Unpopular opinion: Spring cleaning is overrated!

It's not that I don't like the results, don't get me wrong...it's the pressure to do it NOW in our already jam-packed lives. On the blog, I'm giving each and every one of you permission to start whenever you feel like it!
