Back in 2018 we started bringing high school kids from city and suburban schools together to use music as a vehicle for tough conversations around race. This coming Monday, MLK day is the culmination of 8 years, hundreds of kids voices and musical ideas and an army of supporters including and many more. We hope you’ll come celebrate and build with us.

Today is the last day to submit audition videos for our original musical Bridges which will be going on a school tour next year. Looking for singers, dancers, and rappers age 14-21 from Philly and suburbs for this original show written by students for students to explore conversations around race and identity. High School students from 10 Philly Area schools have spent the last 3.5 years writing a musical about building bridges for cross-cultural community and love, drawing on lessons from Beverly Daniel Tatum’s “Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria.
